1.

संजक्षप्त नाम और प्रारंभ- (1) इन जनयमों का संजक्षप्त नाम जल िजि मंत्रालय, जल संसाधन, नदी जवकास और

गंगा संरक्षण जवभाग, ब्रह्मृुत्र बोडड, सजचव (समूह 'क' ृद) भती जनयम, 2025 हज।

(2) ये राजृत्र में प्रकािन की तारीख को प्रवृत्त होंगे।

ृद सं्‍या, वगीकरण और वेतन मजठरक्स में स्ट्तर-ृद की सं्‍या, उसका वगीकरण और वेतन मजठरक्स में स्ट्तर वह

होगा जो इन जनयमों से उृाबद्ध अनुसूची के स्ट्तंभ (2) से स्ट्तंभ (4) में जवजनर्ददष्ट हज।

3.

भती की ृद्धजत, आयु-सीमा और अन्य अहडताएं आदद- उि ृद ृर भती की ृद्धजत, आयु-सीमा, अहडताएं और

उससे संबंजधत अन्य बातें वे होंगी जो उि अनुसूची के स्ट्तंभ (5) से स्ट्तंभ (13) में जवजनर्ददष्ट हैं।

4.

जनरहडता- वह व्यजि, -

(क) जजसने ऐसे व्यजि जजसका ृजत या जजसकी ृत्नी जीजवत हज, जववाह दकया हज या जववाह की संजवदा की हज; या

(ख) जजसने अृने ृजत या अृनी ृत्नी के जीजवत रहते हुए दकसी व्यजि से जववाह दकया हज या जववाह की संजवदा की

हज,

उि ृद ृर जनयुजि का ृात्र नहीं होगा:

ृरन्तु यदद केंद्रीय सरकार का यह समाधान हो जाता हज दक ऐसा जववाह ऐसे व्यजि और जववाह के अन्य ृक्षकार

को लागू स्ट्वीय जवजध के अधीन अनुज्ञेय हज और ऐसा करने के जलए अन्य आधार हैं तो दकसी व्यजि को इस जनयम के प्रवतडन

से छूट दे सकेगी।

5.

जिजथल करने की िजि – जहां केंद्रीय सरकार की यह राय हज दक ऐसा करना आवश्यक या समीचीन हज, वहां वह

उसके जलए जो कारण हैं, उन्हें लेखबद्ध करके, इन जनयमों के दकसी उृबंध को दकसी वगड या प्रवगड के व्यजियों की बाबत,

आदेि द्वारा जिजथल कर सकेगी।

6.

व्यावृजत्त- इन जनयमों की कोई बात, ऐसे आरक्षण, आयु-सीमा में छूट और अन्य ठरयायतों ृर प्रभाव नहीं डालेगी,

जजनका केंद्रीय सरकार द्वारा इस संबंध में समय-समय ृर जारी दकए गए आदेिों के अनुसार अनुसूजचत जाजतयों,

अनुसूजचत जनजाजतयों, अन्य जृछड़े वगों, भूतृूवड सजनकों और अन्य जविेष प्रवगड के व्यजियों के जलए उृबंध करना

अृेजक्षत हज।

2,15,900/प ृए) में ब्रह्मृुत्र बोडड के ऐसे

उृमु्‍य इंजीजनयर जजन्होंने उस श्रेणी में दो

वषड की जनयजमत सेवा की हज; या

(ii) यदद कोई जनयजमत उृमु्‍य इंजीजनयर

उृजस्ट्थत नहीं हज, वेतन मजक्रस के स्ट्तर 12

(78,800-2,09,200/-प ृए)

में

ऐसे

अधीक्षण इंजीजनयर जजन्होंने उस श्रेणी में छह

वषड की जनयजमत सेवा की हज।

ठटप्ृण- जहां ऐसे कजनष्ठ व्यजियों के संबंध में

जजन्होंने अृनी अहडक /ृात्रता सेवा ृूरी कर

ली हज, प्रोन्नजत के जलए जवचार दकया जा रहा

हो जहां उनसे ज्येष्ठ व्यजियों के संबंध में भी

जवचार दकया जाएगा ृरंतु यह तब जब दक

उसके द्वारा की गई ऐसी अहडक/ृात्रता सेवा,

अृेजक्षत अहडक/ृात्रता सेवा के आधे से अजधक

से या दो वषड से, इनमें से जो भी कम हो, कम

न हो और उन्होंने अृने ऐसे कजनष्ठ व्यजियों

सजहत जजन्होंने ऐसी अहडक/ृात्रता सेवा ृहले

ही ृूरी कर ली हज, अगली उच्चतर श्रेणी में

प्रोन्नजत के जलए अृनी ृठरवीक्षा की अवजध

सफलताृूवडक ृूरी कर ली हो।

प्रजतजनयुजि (जजसके अंतगडत अल्ृकाजलक

संजवदा भी हज):

केंद्रीय सरकार या राज्य सरकारों या संघ

राज् य क्षेत्र प्रिासन या राज्य जव्ुत बोडड या

ृजललक सेक्टर के उृक्मों या कानूनी

संग नों

या

स्ट्वािासी

जनकायों

या

जवश्वजव्ालयों या मान्यता प्राप्त अनुसंधान

संस्ट्थाओं के ऐसे अजधकारी जो:-

(क) (i) जो मूल काडर या जवभाग में

जनयजमत आधार ृर सदृि ृद धारण दकए

हुए हों; या

(ii) जजन्होंने वेतन मजठरक्स के स्ट्तर-13

(1,23,100 - 2,15,900/- प ृए) में ृद

धारण करते हुए उस श्रेणी में दो वषड की

जनयजमत सेवा की हो; या

(iii) जजन्होंने वेतन मजठरक्स में स्ट्तर-12

(78,800 - 2,09,200/- प ृए) में ृद

धारण करते हुए उस श्रेणी में छह वषड की

जनयजमत सेवा की हो; और

जवभागीय प्रोन्नजत सजमजत (प्रोन्नजत और चयन के

संबंध में जवचार करने के जलए) जजसमें

जनम्नजलजखत होंगे:

जल िजि मंत्रालय, जल संसाधन, नदी जवकास

और गंगा संरक्षण जवभाग में प्रिासन या स्ट्थाृना

संबंधी मामलों का कायडभार देखने वाले अृर

सजचव या संयुि सजचव - अध्यक्ष;

मु्‍य इंजीजनयर, ब्रह्मृुत्र बेजसन संग न, केंद्रीय

जल आयोग, गुवाहाटी - सदस्ट्य;

(ख (जो जनम्नजलजखत िजक्षक अहडताएं और

अनुभव रखते हैं, अथाडत्:-

(i) दकसी मान्यता प्राप्त जवश्वजव्ालय से

जसजवल इंजीजनयरी में जडग्री या समतुल्य;

और

(ii) जल संसाधन ृठरयोजनाओं या प्रबंधन

और सामान्य प्रिासन के क्षेत्र में जविेषज्ञता

के साथ जसजवल इंजीजनयरी संकमड में कायड

अनुभव;

(ख) (i) जजन्होंने वेतन मजठरक्स के स्ट्तर-13

(1,23,100 - 2,15,900/- रुृये (में केंद्रीय

सरकार या राज्य सरकारों में अजखल

भारतीय सेवा अजधकारी का ृद धारण करते

हुए दो वषड की जनयजमत सेवा की हो और

प्रिासन में कायड करने का अनुभव हो; या

(ii) जजन्होंने वेतन मजठरक्स के स्ट्तर - 12

(78,800 - 2,09,200/- रुृये (में केंद्रीय

सरकार या राज्य सरकारों में अजखल

भारतीय सेवा अजधकारी का ृद धारण करते

हुए छह वषड की जनयजमत सेवा की हो एवं

प्रिासन में कायड करने का अनुभव हो।

ठटप्ृण 1–ृोषक वगड के ऐसे जवभागीय

अजधकारी, जो प्रोन्नजत की सीधी ृंजि में हैं,

प्रजतजनयुजि (जजसके अंतगडत अल्ृकाजलक

संजवदा भी हज) ृर जनयुजि के जलए जवचार

दकए जाने के ृात्र नहीं होंगे। इसी प्रकार,

प्रजतजनयुि व्यजि प्रोन्नजत द्वारा जनयुजि के

जलए जवचार दकए जाने के ृात्र नहीं होंगे।

ठटप्ृण 2–प्रजतजनयुजि (जजसके अंतगडत

अल्ृकाजलक संजवदा भी हज) की अवजध,

जजसके अंतगडत केन् द्रीय सरकार के उसी या

दकसी अन् य संग न या जवभाग में इस जनयुजि

से ीक ृहले धाठरत दकसी अन्य काडर बाह्य

ृद

ृर

प्रजतजनयुजि

(जजसके

अंतगडत

अल्ृकाजलक संजवदा भी हज) की अवजध हज,

साधारणतया ृांच वषड से अजधक नहीं होगी।

ठटप्ृण 3–प्रजतजनयुजि (जजसके अंतगडत

अल्ृकाजलक संजवदा भी हज) द्वारा जनयुजि के

जलए अजधकतम आयु सीमा आवेदन प्राप्त

करने की अंजतम तारीख को छप्ृन वषड से

अजधक नहीं होगी।

G.S.R. 176.––In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (c) of sub-section (2) of section 29 read with

sub-section (3) of section 9 of the Brahmaputra Board Act, 1980 (46 of 1980) and in supersession of the Ministry of

Jal Shakti, Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Brahmaputra Board [Chief

Engineer (Level-I), Chief Engineer (Level-II) and Secretary], Group ‘A’ Posts Recruitment Regulations, 2020, in so

far as it relate to the post of Secretary, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession,

the Central Government hereby makes the following regulations regulating the method of recruitment to the post of

Secretary in the Brahmaputra Board, namely :-

1.

Short title and commencement.- (1) These regulations may be called the Ministry of Jal Shakti,

Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Brahmaputra Board,

Secretary (Group ‘A’ Post) Recruitment Regulations, 2025.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2.

Number of post, classification and level in the pay matrix.- The number of post, its classification and

level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to

these regulations.

3.

Method of recruitment, age-limit and other qualifications, etc. -The method of recruitment, age-limit,

qualifications and other matters relating to the said post shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the said

Schedule.

4.

Disqualification.- No person,-

(a)

who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or

(b)

who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,

shall be eligible for appointment to the said post:

Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal

law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt

any person from the operation of this regulations.

5.

Power to relax.- Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it

may, by order and for reasons to be recorded in writing, relax any of the provisions of these regulations with respect

to any class or category of persons.

6.

Savings.- Nothing in these regulations shall affect reservation, relaxation of age-limit and other concessions

required to be provided for the Schedule Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, ex-servicemen and

other special categories or persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time

in this regard.

5. जनरहडता-वह व्यजि, -

(क) जजसने ऐसे व्यजि से, जजसका ृजत या जजसकी ृत्नी जीजवत हज, जववाह दकया हज या जववाह की संजवदा की हज; या

(ख) जजसने अृने ृजत या अृनी ृत्नी के जीजवत रहते हुए दकसी व्यजि से जववाह दकया हज या जववाह की संजवदा की हज,

उि ृदों ृर जनयुजि का ृात्र नहीं होगा :

ृरंतु, केन्द्रीय सरकार का यह समाधान हो जाता हज दक ऐसा जववाह ऐसे व्यजि और जववाह के अन्य ृक्षकार ृर लागू

स्ट्वीय जवजध के अधीन अनुज्ञेय हज और ऐसा करने के जलए अन्य आधार हैं तो वह दकसी व्यजि को इस जनयम के प्रवतडन से

छूट दे सकती हज।

6. जि जथल करने की िजि- जहां केंद्रीय सरकार की यह राय हज दक ऐसा करना आवश्यक या समीचीन हज, वहां वह उसके

जलए जो कारण हैं, उन्हें लेखबद्ध करके तथा संघ लोक सेवा आयोग से ृरामिड करके इन जनयमों के दकसी उृबंध को दकसी

वगड या प्रवगड के व्यजियों की बाबत, आदेि द्वारा जिजथल कर सकेंगी।

7. व्यावृजत्त- इन जनयमों में कोई बात, ऐसे आरक्षणों, आयु-सीमा में छूट और अन्य ठरयायतों, ृर प्रभाव नहीं डालेगी,

जजनका केन्द्रीय सरकार द्वारा इस संबंध में समय-समय ृर जारी दकए गए आदेिों के अनुसार, अनुसूजचत जाजतयों,

अनुसूजचत जनजाजतयों, अन्य जृछड़े वगों, भूतृूवड सजनकों और अन्य जविेष प्रवगड के व्यजियों के जलए उृबंध करना

अृेजक्षत हज।

G.S.R. 177.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution and in

supersession of the Ministry of Water Resources, the Farakka Barrage Project , Junior Engineer (Civil/ Mechanical/

Electrical) and Assistant Engineer (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical), (Group ‘B’ post) Recruitment Rules, 2014, in so

far as they relate to the post of Assistant Engineer (Electrical) and Assistant Engineer (Mechanical), except as

respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the President hereby makes the following rules

regulating the method of recruitment to the posts of Assistant Engineer (Mechancial/Electrical), (Group-B) in the

Farakka Barrage Project, namely:-

1.

Short title and commencement. – (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Department of

Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Farakka Barrage Project, Assistant Engineer

(Mechanical/ Electrical) Group-B post Recruitment Rules, 2025.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2.

Application- These rules shall apply to the posts specified in column (1) of the schedule annexed to these

rules.

3. Number of posts, classification and level in pay matrix. - The number of the said posts, their classification

and level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the said Schedule annexed to

these rules.

4. Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications, etc.–The method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications

and other matters relating to the said post shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the said Schedule.

5. Disqualification. – No person, -

(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or

(b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,

6. Power to relax. – Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it

may, by order, for reasons to be recorded in writing and in consultation with the Union Public Service Commission,

relax any of the provision of these rules with respect to any class or category of persons.

7. Saving. – Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age-limit and other concessions required

to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Schedules Tribes, Other Backward Classes, the Ex--servicemen and

other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time

in this regard.

श्रेणी-I, भती जनयम, 2016 को, उन बातों के जसवाय अजधक्ांत करते हुए, जजन्हें ऐसे अजधक्मण से ृूवड दकया गया हज या

करने का लोृ दकया गया हज, जल िजि मंत्रालय के अधीन, जल संसाधन, नदी जवकास और गंगा संरक्षण जवभाग, फरक् का

बजराज ृठरयोजना में मु्‍य नक्िानवीस और ज्येष्ठ नक्िानवीस के ृदों ृर भती की ृद्धजत का जवजनयमन करने के जलए

जनम् नजलजखत जनयम बनाते हैं, अथाडत् :-

1.

संजक्षप्त नाम और प्रारंभ– (1) इन जनयमों का संजक्षप्त नाम जल िजि मंत्रालय, जल संसाधन, नदी जवकास और गंगा

संरक्षण जवभाग, फरक्का बजराज ृठरयोजना, मु्‍य नक्िानवीस और ज्येष्ठ नक्िानवीस (समूह 'ख' ृद) भती

जनयम, 2025 हज।

(2) ये राजृत्र में उनके प्रकािन की ताठरख को प्रवृत्त होंगे।

लागू होना- ये जनयम इन जनयमों से उृाबद्ध अनुसूची के स्ट्तंभ (1) में जवजनर्ददष्ट ृदों ृर लागू होंगे।

3.

ृद सं्‍या, वगीकरण और वेतन मजठरक्स में स्ट्तर- उि ृदों की सं्‍या, उनका वगीकरण और वेतन मजठरक्स में स्ट्तर

वे होंगे जो इन जनयमों से उृाबद्ध अनुसूची के स्ट् तंभ (2) से स्ट् तंभ (4) में जवजनर्ददष्ट हज।

4.

भती की ृद्धजत, आयु सीमा, अहडताएं आदद– उि ृदों ृर भती की ृद्धजत, आयु सीमा, अहडताएं और उससे

संबंजधत अन्य बातें वे होंगी जो ृूवोक् त अनुसूची के स्ट् तंभ (5) से स्ट् तंभ (13) में जवजनर्ददष्ट हज।

5. जनरहडता-वह व्यजि, -

(क) जजसने ऐसे व्यजि, जजसका ृजत या जजसकी ृत्नी जीजवत हज, जववाह दकया हज या जववाह की संजवदा की हज; या

(ख) जजसने अृने ृजत या अृनी ृत्नी के जीजवत रहते हुए दकसी व्यजि से जववाह दकया हज या जववाह की संजवदा की हज,

उि ृदों ृर जनयुजि का ृात्र नहीं होगा :

ृरंतु, केन्द्रीय सरकार का यह समाधान हो जाता हज दक ऐसा जववाह ऐसे व्यजि और जववाह के अन्य ृक्षकार ृर लागू

स्ट्वीय जवजध के अधीन अनुज्ञेय हज और ऐसा करने के जलए अन्य आधार हैं तो वह दकसी व्यजि को इस जनयम के प्रवतडन से

छूट दे सकेगी।

6. जि जथल करने की िजि - जहां केंद्रीय सरकार की यह राय हज दक ऐसा करना आवश्यक या समीचीन हज, वहां वह उसके

जलए जो कारण हैं, उन्हें लेखबद्ध करके तथा संघ लोक सेवा आयोग से ृरामिड करके इन जनयमों के दकसी उृबंध को दकसी

वगड या प्रवगड के व्यजियों की बाबत आदेि द्वारा जिजथल कर सकेगी।

7. व्यावृजत्त- इन जनयमों में कोई बात, ऐसे आरक्षणों, आयु-सीमा में छूट और अन्य ठरयायतों, ृर प्रभाव नहीं डालेगी,

जजनका केन्द्रीय सरकार द्वारा इस संबंध में समय-समय ृर जारी दकए गए आदेिों के अनुसार, अनुसूजचत जाजतयों,

अनुसूजचत जनजाजतयों, अन्य जृछड़े वगों, भूतृूवड सजनकों और अन्य जविेष प्रवगड के व्यजियों के जलए उृबंध करना

अृेजक्षत हज।

ज्येष्ठ नक्िानवीस, जजन्होंने ग्रेड में ृांच वषड की जनयजमत सेवा

की हो और सरकारी संबद्ध संस्ट्थान या संग नों से जीआईएस या

जजयोइन्फॉमेठटक्स या ठरमोट सेंससग के क्षेत्र में दो से चार सप्ताह

का प्रजिक्षण सफलताृूवडक ृूरा दकया हो।

ठटप्ृण: जहां ऐसे कजन्‍ व्यजियों के संबंध में, जजन्होंने अृनी

अहडक या ृात्रता सेवा ृूरी कर ली हज, ृदोन्नजत के जलए जवचार

दकया जा रहा हज, वहां उनसे वठरष्ठों के संबंध में भी जवचार दकया

जाएगा ृरंतु यह तब जब दक उनके द्वारा की गई ऐसी अहडक या

ृात्रता सेवा, अृेजक्षत अहडक या ृात्रता सेवा के आधे से अजधक से

या दो वषड से, इनमें से जो भी कम हो, कम न हो और उन्होंने

अृने ऐसे कजनष्ठ व्यजियों सजहत, जजन्होंने ऐसी अहडक या ृात्रता

सेवा ृहले ही ृूरी कर ली हज, अगली उच्चतर श्रेणी में ृदोन्नजत के

जलए अृनी ृठरवीक्षा की अवजध सफलताृूवडक ृूरी कर ली हो।

ख. प्रजतजनयुजि द्वारा (अल्ृकाजलक संजवदा सजहत):

केंद्रीय सरकार या राज्य सरकार या संघ राज्य क्षेत्र या ृजललक

सेक्टर के उृक्मों या स्ट्वायत्त या कानूनी या जवश्वजव्ालयों या

मान्यता प्राप्त अनुसंधान संस्ट्थानों के अधीन नक्िानवीस संवगड के

अजधकारी:

(क)(i) मूल संवगड या जवभाग में जनयजमत आधार ृर सदृि ृद

धारण दकए हुए हों; या

(ii) मूल कजडर या जवभाग में जनयजमत आधार ृर जनयुजि के

ृश्चात् वेतन मजठरक्स में वेतन स्ट्तर-6 (35400-112400 रुृये)

या समतुल्य में ृांच वषड की सेवा की हो; और

(ख) जनम्नजलजखत िजक्षजणक अहडताएं और अनुभव रखते हों:

(i) दकसी मान्यता प्राप्त जवश्वजव्ालय या संस्ट्थान से जसजवल या

मजकेजनकल या इलेजक्रकल इंजीजनयररग में जडप्लोमा।

समूह ‘ख’ जवभागीय प्रोन्नजत सजमजत

जजसमें जनम्नजलजखत होंगे: -

की सीधी ृंजि में हैं, (अल्ृकाजलक संजवदा सजहत)

प्रजतजनयुजि के आधार ृर जनयुजि के जलए जवचार के ृात्र

नहीं होंगे। इसी तरह, प्रजतजनयुजि ृर आए लोग ृदोन्नजत

द्वारा जनयुजि के जलए जवचार के ृात्र नहीं होंगे।

ठटप्ृण 2.- प्रजतजनयुजि की अवजध (अल्ृकाजलक संजवदा

सजहत) जजसके अंतगडत केन्द्रीय सरकार के उसी या दकसी

अन्य संग न या जवभाग में इस जनयुजि से ीक ृहले धाठरत

दकसी अन्य काडर बाह्य ृद ृर प्रजतजनयुजि की अवजध

साधारणतया 5 वषड से अजधक नहीं होगी।

ठटप्ृण 3.- प्रजतजनयुजि द्वारा जनयुजि के जलए अजधकतम आयु-

सीमा, आवेदन प्राप्त करने की अंजतम तारीख तक 56 वषड से

अजधक नहीं होगी।

G.S.R. 178.––In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution and in

supersession of the Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation Farakka Barrage

Project , Chief Draftsman and Draftsman Grade-I, Recruitment Rules, 2016, except as respects things done or omitted

to be done before such supersession, the President hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of

recruitment to the posts of Chief Draughtsman and Senior Draughtsman in the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Department of

Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Farakka Barrage Project, namely:-

1.

Short title and commencement. – (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Department of

Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Farakka Barrage Project, Chief

Draughtsman and Senior Draughtsman (Group ‘B’ Post) Recruitment Rules, 2025.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2.

Application- These rules shall apply to the posts specified in column (1) of the schedule annexed to these

rules.

3. Number of posts, classification and level in pay matrix. - The number of the said post, their classification

and level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the said Schedule annexed to

these rules.

4. Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications, etc. – The method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications

and other matters relating to the said post shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the said Schedule.

5. Disqualification. – No person, -

(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or

(b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,

shall be eligible for appointment to the said posts:

Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal

law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt

any person from the operation of this rule.

6. Power to relax. – Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it

may, by order, for reasons to be recorded in writing and in consultation with the Union Public Service Commission,

relax any of the provision of these rules with respect to any class or category of persons.

7. Saving. – Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age-limit and other concessions required

to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Schedules Tribes, Other Backward Classes, the Ex--servicemen and

other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time

in this regard.

(a)(i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the

(ii) with five years' service in the pay level-6 in the pay

matrix (Rs. 35400-112400) or equivalent rendered after

appointment thereto on a regular basis in the parent cadre

or department; and

(b) possessing the educational qualifications and

experience as under:

(i) Diploma in Civil or Mechanical or Electrical

Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.

(ii) Three years' experience in the field of Civil or

Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from Government

(central or State or Union Territory Adminstration) or

Public Sector Undertakings or statutory or autonomous

organisation or Universities or Recognised Research

Institutes.

Deisrable:- Six months experience on the software relating

to Auto-CAD (Computer Aided Design)

Note 1: The departmental officers in the feeder category

who are in direct line of promotion shall not be eligible

for consideration for appointment by deputation including

short-term contract. Similarly, the deputationist shall not

be eligible for consideration for appointment by

promotion.

Note 2: The Period of deputation (including short-term

contract) including the period of deputation in another ex-

cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment
