िजियों का प्रयोग करते हुए भारत जनवाचर्न आयोग लक्षद्वीृ संघ राज्य क्षेत्र प्रिासन के ृरामिच से एतद्द्वारा श्री अवनीि

कुमार, आई.ए.एस (ए.िी.एम.यूटी:2014) को उनके कायच भार ग्रिण करने की तारीख से आगामी आदेिों तक के जलए

लक्षद्वीृ संघ राज्य क्षेत्र के मु्‍य जनवाचर्न अजधकारी के प ृ में नाजमत करता िज।

श्री अवनीि कुमार, लक्षद्वीृ संघ राज्य क्षेत्र प्रिासन के अधीन सभी ृदभार या दकसी कायच के ृदभारों को

तत्काल सौंृ देंगे या धारण करना समाप्त कर देंगे, िो दक वे ऐसा ृदभार ग्रिण करने से ृिले धारण कर रिे थे।

श्री अवनीि कुमार, मु्‍य जनवाचर्न अजधकारी, लक्षद्वीृ के प ृ में कायच करते हुए लक्षद्वीृ संघ राज्य क्षेत्र प्रिासन

के अधीन दकसी भी प्रकार का कोई अजतररि कायचभार ग्रिण निीं करेंगें जसवाय इसके दक उनको लक्षद्वीृ संघ राज्य क्षेत्र

सजर्वालय में जनवाचर्न जवभाग के प्रभारी, लक्षद्वीृ संघ राज्य क्षेत्र प्रिासन के सजर्व ृदाजभजित दकया िाएगा।

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 7th January, 2026

O. N. 3.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 13A of the Representation of the

People Act, 1950 (43 of 1950), the Election Commission of India in consultation with the Administration of Union

Territory of Lakshadweep hereby designates Shri Awanish Kumar, IAS (AGMUT:2014) as the Chief Electoral

Officer for the Union Territory of Lakshadweep with effect from the date he takes over charge and until further

orders.

2.

Shri Awanish Kumar shall cease to hold and hand over forthwith the charge of all or any charges of work

under the Administration of Union Territory of Lakshadweep, which he may be holding before such assumption of

office.

3.

Shri Awanish Kumar while functioning as the Chief Electoral Officer, Lakshadweep shall not hold any

additional charge whatsoever under the Administration of the Union Territory of Lakshadweep except that he should

be designated Secretary to the Administration of the Union Territory of Lakshadweep in charge of Election

Department in the Union Territory Secretariat.
