बनाते िैं, अथाात्:-

संजक्षप्त नाम और प्रारंभ- (1) इन जनयमों का संजक्षप्त नाम अजखल भारतीय भौजतक जचदकत्सा और पुनवाास
संस्ट्थान, मुंबई , व्यवसाय जचदकत्सक, (समूि ‘ख’ पि), भती जनयम, 2026 िै।

वेतन मैररक् स में स्ट्तर वि िोगा िो इन जनयमों से उपाबद्ध अनुसूची के स्ट्तंभ (2) से स्ट्तंभ (4) में जवजनर्िाष्ट िै ।

संबंजित अन्य बातें वे िोंगी िो उक् त अनुसूची के स्ट्तंभ (5) से स्ट्तंभ (13) में जवजनर्िाष्ट िैं ।
4.
जनरिाता: वि व्यजि-
(क)
जिसने ऐसे व्यजि से, जिसका पजत या जिसकी पत्नी िीजवत िै, जववाि दकया िै या जववाि की संजविा की
िै; या
(ख)
जिसने अपने पजत या अपनी पत्नी के िीजवत रिते हुए दकसी व्यजि से जववाि दकया िै या जववाि की
संजविा की िै;
उि पि पर जनयुजि का पात्र निीं िोगा:
परंतु यदि केन्रीय सरकार का यि समािान िो िाता िै दक ऐसा जववाि ऐसे व्यजि और जववाि के अन्य पक्षकार
को लागू स्ट्वीय जवजि के अिीन अनुज्ञेय िै और ऐसा करने के जलए अन्य आिार िै, तो वि दकसी व्यजि को इस जनयम के
प्रवतान से छूट िे सकेगी ।
5.
जिजथल करने की िजि: ििां केन्रीय सरकार की यि राय िै दक ऐसा करना आवश्यक या समीचीन िै, विां वि
उसके जलए िो कारण िैं उनको लेखबद्ध करके तथा संघ लोक सेवा आयोग से परामिा करके, इन जनयमों के दकसी उपबंि
को दकसी वगा या प्रवगा के व्यजियों के बाबत, आिेि द्वारा जिजथल कर सकेगी ।
6.
व्यावृजत्त: इन जनयमों की कोई बात ऐसे आरक्षण, आयु-सीमा में छूट और अन्य ररयायतों पर प्रभाव निीं डालेगी,
जिनका केन्रीय सरकार द्वारा इस संबंि में समय–समय पर िारी दकए गए आिेिों के अनुसार अनुसूजचत िाजतयों,
अनुसूजचत िनिाजतयों, अन् य जपछड़े वगों, भूतपूवा सैजनकों और अन्य जविेष प्रवगा के व्यजियों के जलए उपबंि करना
अपेजक्षत िै ।

(ख) वांछनीय:
दकसी मान्यताप्राप्त जवश्वजवद्यालय या संस्ट्थान से
दकसी भी िाखा में व्यवसाय जचदकत्सा में मास्ट्टर
जडग्री।
रटप्पण 1: अिाताएं अन्यथा सुअर्िात अभ्यर्थायों की
ििा में कमाचारी चयन आयोग या सक्षम प्राजिकारी
के जववेकानुसार, उन कारणों के जलए िो लेखबद्ध
दकये िाएं, जिजथल की िा सकती िै।
रटप् पण 2: अनुभव संबंिी अिाताएं उन कारणों के
जलए िो लेखबद्ध दकए िाएं, कमाचारी चयन आयोग
या सक्षम प्राजिकारी के जववेकानुसार, अनुसूजचत

सीिी भती दकए िाने वाले व्यजियों के
जलए जवजित अिाताएं और अनुभव िैं।

G.S.R. 91.— In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution and in
supersession of the All India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Bombay ( Class III and Class IV Posts)
Recruitment Rules, 1968, in so far as they relate to the post of Occupational Therapists, except as respects things done
or omitted to be done before such supersession, the President hereby makes the following rules regulating the
method of recruitment to the post of Occupational Therapist in the All India Institute of physical Medicine and
Rehabilitation, Mumbai, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare namely:-
1.
Short title and commencement. – (1) These rules may be called the All India Institute of Physical Medicine
and Rehabilitation, Mumbai, Occupational Therapist (Group ‘B’ Post) Recruitment Rules, 2026.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2.
Number of post, classification and level in pay matrix. – The number of the said post, its classification and
level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these
rules.
3.
Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications, etc. – The method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications
and other matters relating to the said post shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the said Schedule.
4.
Disqualification. – No person, -
(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or
(b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,
shall be eligible for appointment to the said post:
Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal
law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt
such person from the operation of this rule.
5.
Power to relax. – Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it
may, by order and for reasons to be recorded in writing and in consultation with the Union Public Service
Commission, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or category of persons.
6.
Saving. – Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age-limit and other concessions
required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, other backward classes, ex-servicemen
and other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to
time in this regard.

Government hospital or private hospital with at least fifty beds.
(b)Desirable :
Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy in any branch from a
recognised University or institute.
Note 1: The qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Staff
Selection Commission /competent authority, for reasons to be
recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Note 2: The qualifications regarding experience are relaxable at the
discretion of the Staff Selection Commission or competent authority,
for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of candidates
belonging to the Scheduled Castes or the Scheduled Tribes, if at any
stage of selection the Staff Selection Commission or competent
authority is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from
these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely
to be available to fill up the vacancy reserved for them.

Superintendent (Level-8), in the Indian Space Research Organisation.’’
The entry under Schedule (3) for the post may please be read as ‘General Central Services, Group ‘B’
(Non-Gazetted)’.
The above modifications will be effective from 29th December, 2025.
