New Delhi, the 16th July, 2026

G.S.R. 149.— In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the

President hereby makes the following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the post of Head Clerk in the

All India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Mumbai, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare,

namely:-

1. Short title and commencement. – (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare,

All India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Mumbai, Head Clerk (Group ‘C’

Post) Recruitment Rules, 2026.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Number of post, classification and level in pay matrix. – The number of the said post, its classification

and level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule

annexed to these rules.

3. Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications, etc. – The method of recruitment, age-limit,

qualifications and other matters relating to the said post shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the

said Schedule.

रटप्ृण 1: ृोषक प्रवगा के ऐसे जवभागी

अजिकारी, िो प्रोन्नजत की सीिी ृंजि में िैं,

प्रजतजन ुजि ृर जन ुजि के जलए जवचार दकए

िाने के ृात्र निीं िोंगे। इसी प्रकार,

प्रजतजन ुि व्यजि प्रोन्नजत द्वारा जन ुजि के

जलए जवचार दकए िाने के ृात्र निीं िोंगे।

रटप्ृण 2: प्रजतजन ुजि की अवजि जिसमें केंर

सरकार के उसी ा दकसी अन् संग न ा

जवभाग में इस जन ुजि से ीक ृिले िाररत

दकसी अन् ृूवा-काडर ृि में प्रजतजन ुजि

(अल्ृकाजलक करार सजित) की अवजि िाजमल

िज, सािारणत ा तीन वषा से अजिक निीं

िोगी।

रटप्ृण 3: प्रजतजन ुजि द्वारा जन ुजि के जलए

अजिकतम आ ु सीमा आवेिन प्राप्त करने की

अंजतम तारीख़ को 56 वषा से अजिक निीं

िोगी।

4. Disqualification. – No person, -

(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or

(b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,

shall be eligible for appointment to the said post:

Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the

personal law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds

for so doing, exempt any person from the operation of this rule.

5. Power to relax. – Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do,

it may, by order and for reasons to be recorded in writing, relax any of the provisions of these rules with

respect to any class or category of persons.

6. Saving. – Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age-limit and other concessions

required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, other backward classes, ex-

servicemen and other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central

Government from time to time in this regard.

Note 1: The departmental officers in the feeder

category who are in the direct line of promotion shall

not be eligible for consideration for appointment on

deputation. Similarly, the deputationists shall not be

eligible for consideration for appointment by

promotion.

Note 2: The period of deputation (including short

term contract) including the period of deputation

(including short term contract) in another ex-cadre

post held immediately preceding this appointment in

the same or some other organisation or department of

the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed

three years.

Note 3: The maximum age-limit for appointment by

deputation (including short term contract) shall be

not exceeding fifty-six years as on the closing date of

से ृिले दक ा ग ा िज ा करने का लोृ दक ा ग ा िज, स्ट्वास्ट्् एवं ृररवार कल् ाण मंत्राल , अज ल भारती संस्ट् ान

भौजतक जचदकत्सा एवं ृुनवाास, मुंबई में वररष्ठ ृररच ाा अजिकारी (समूि ‘ ’ ृि) के ृि ृर भती की ृद्धजत को

जवजन जमत करने िेतु जनम्नजलज त जन म बनाती िैं, अ ाात् :-

को लागू स्ट्वी जवजि के अिीन अनुज्ञे िज और ऐसा करने के जलए अन् आिार िैं, तो वि दकसी व्यजि को इस जन म के

rules regulating the method of recruitment to the post of Senior Nursing Officer, All India Institute of Physical

1. Short title and commencement. – (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, All

India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Mumbai, Senior Nursing Officer (Group ‘B’ Post)

Recruitment Rules, 2026.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

Number of post, classification and level in pay matrix. - The number of the said post, its classification and

level in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these

rules.

Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications, etc.- The method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications

and other matters relating to the said post shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the said Schedule.

Disqualification. - No person, -

(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or

(b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person,

shall be eligible for appointment to the said post:

Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal

law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing,

exempt any person from the operation of this rule.

Power to relax. — Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to

do, it may, by order and for reasons to be recorded in writing and in consultation with the Union Public Service

Commission, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or category of persons.

Saving. — Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age-limit and other concessions

required to be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, other backward classes, ex-servicemen and

other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time

in this regard.

Recruitment Rules, 1968, in so far as they relate to the post of Junior Job Workers (Shoe, Leather, Wood and Metal),

except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the President hereby makes the

following rules regulating the method of recruitment to the post of Junior Technician (Prosthetic) in the All India

Institute Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Mumbai, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, namely:-

1. Short title and commencement. – (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, All

India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Mumbai, Junior Technician (Prosthetic), Group ‘C’ Post,

Recruitment Rules, 2026.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Number of post, classification and level in pay matrix. – The number of the said post, its classification and level

in the pay matrix attached thereto shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules.

3. Method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications, etc. – The method of recruitment, age-limit, qualifications and

other matters relating to the said post shall be as specified in columns (5) to (13) of the said Schedule.

4. Disqualification. – No person, -

(a) who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living; or

(b) who, having a spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person;

shall be eligible for appointment to the said post:

Provided that the Central Government may, if satisfied that such marriage is permissible under the personal

law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and that there are other grounds for so doing, exempt

any person from the operation of this rule.

5. Power to relax. – Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do, it may,

by order and for reasons to be recorded in writing, relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class

or category of persons.

6. Saving. - Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age-limit and other concessions required to

be provided for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, other backward classes, ex-servicemen and other special

categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time in this

regard.
