ln exercise of the powers conferred by clause (2) and ⁽³⁾ ofArticle ¹⁶⁶ of ^the

Constitution of India, the Governor of Chhattisgarh, hereby, makes the following further amendments in the ^Chhattisgarh

Government Rules of Business, namely :-

AMENDMENT

In the said rules and instructions therein,-

1.

In Part 1-Rules of Business ofthe Executive Government of Chhattisgarh, in rule 3, after clause ^{(c), the}

following shall be added, namely :-

"(d)

"Secretary" of the department means the Officer posted on Senior most ^{post among the}

Additional ChiefSecretary Principal Secretary Secretary or Special Secretary ^(lndependent

Charge) posted in that department."

2.

ln Part V-Supplementary lnstructions under Rule 13 of the Business Rules, under ^heading

A-Procedure of Secretaries, in Instruction 2, in clause (i) of the Explanation, for the words

" a Secretary or an Additional Secretary", the words "a Secretary, Special Secretary ( Independent

Charge ), Special Secretary or an Additional Secretary" shall be substituted.
