Whereas, there are reports with the State Govemment that certain elements are

active or are likely to be active to threaten the communal harmony and to commit any act prejudicial to the maintenance

of public order, and to commit acts prejudicial to the securify of State;

And whereas, having regard to the circumstances prevailing in the areas within the local limits ofjurisdiction

oftheAll District Magistrate, District Raipur, Bilaspur, Rajnandgaon, Durg, Raigarh, Surguja, Jashpur, Koria, Janjgir-

Champa, Korba, Kabirdham, Mahasamund, Dhamtari, Jagdalpur, Dantewada, Kanker, Brjapur, Narayanpur, Sukma,

Kondagaon, Balodabazar, Gariyaband, Bemetara, Balod, Mungeli, Surajpur, Balrampur the State Government is

satisfied that it is necessary so to do;

Noq therefore, in exercise of the power conferred by the provision to sub-section (3) of Section 3 of the

National Security Act, 1 980 (No. 65 of 1980), the State Government hereby directs that the District Magistrate, District

Raipur, Bilaspur, Rajnandgaon, Durg, Raigarh, Surguj4 Jashpur, Koria, Janjgir-Champa, Korba, Kabirdham, Mahasamund,

Dhamtari, Jagdalpur, Dantewada, Kankel Bijapur, Narayanpur, Sukma, Kondagaon, BaTodabazar,Gariyaband, Bemetara,

Balod, Mungeli, Surajpur, Balrampur may during the period From 1st Janu ary, 2019 to 3 l st March, 2019 if satisfied as

provided in sub-section (2) ofthe said Section 3, exercise the powers conferred by sub-section (2) ofthe said Section 3 .
