NOTIFICATION

No. F 5-36l2015i 18.- In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 36 of the Street Vendors

(Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act,2014 (No.7 of 2014), the State Government,

hereby, makes the following amendments in Chhattisgarh Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and

Regulation of Street Vending) Rules, 2015, namely:-

AMENDMENT

In the said rules, -

In rule 5, in sub-rule (2), for Clause (e), The following shall be substituted, namely:-

"(e) The Urban Local Bodies shall elect ten Vendors, half of whom shall be women, as members through an

election process from identified vendors:

Provided that due representation shall be given to the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes,

Other Backward Classes, minorities and persons with disabilities:

Provided further that the vendors shall be so selected as to represent various trades and vendor

zones in the town."
