In pursuance ofthe provision of Section 28-A ofthe Representation ofthe People

Act, 195 I (No. 43 of 195 I ) and in view of the directions contained in the Election Commission of India's letter ^{No. 434111}

ESO26I94 MCS, dated 24th October, 1994, all Police Officers designated by the State Govemment for the conduct of ^Lok

Sabha Election,2019 shall be deemed to be on deputation to the ^Election Commission for the ^period commencing ^from

the date ofnotification calling for such election and ending ^{with the date ofdeclaration} ofthe ^{result ofsuch election and}

accordingly, such Police Officers shall, during that ^period, be ^{subject to the control,} superintendence ^{and discipline of}

the Election Commission.
