No. 464lEPSl20l9(3-A). - Whereas, the Election Commission of India by its Notification No.

464lEPSl20l9(3) dated 28th March, 2019 issued under Section 30 read with Section 56 of the Representation of

the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951) has fixed'hours of poll' in respect of 76-Simri Bakhtiarpur, l48-Alauli (SC)

and 15O-Beldaur Assembly Segments of 25-Khagaria Parliamentary Constituency in the State of Bihar from

7.00 AM to 6.00 PM, and 08-Samri (ST) Assembly Segment of 01-Surguja (ST) Parliamentary Constituency in

the State of Chhattisgarh from 7.00AM to 3.00PM (For Polling Station No.l24 & 125),while ior rest of poliing

Stations from 7.00AM to 6.00PM, and

Whereas, after considering the report of Chief Electoral Officers, Bihar and Chhattisgarh and taking

into account all other material circumstances including the Law and Order situation, the Election Commission of

India has decided to change the hours of poll in the aforesaid Assembly Segments of 25-Khagaria parliamentary

Constituency in the State of Bihar and Assembly Segments of 01-Surguja (ST) in the state ofthhauisgarh.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 56 of the Representation of the people

Act, 1951 the Election Commission of India hereby makes the following amendment in its Notification

No. 464/EPS12019(3) dated 28th March, 2019 referred to above namely :-
