NOTIFICATION

No. F 5-812017 118. - In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 243W read with

Twelfth Schedule of the Constitution of India and Section 433 read with Section 80 of the

Chhattisgarh Municipal Corporation Act, 1956 (No. 23 of 1956), the State Government,

hereby, makes the following further amendment in the Chhattisgarh Municipal Corporation

(Transfer of Immovable Property) Rules, 1994, namely:-

AMENDMENT

In the said rules,-

1.

In rule 3, after the third proviso, for the punctuation full stop ".", the punctuation

colon ":", shall be substituted.

2.

After the third proviso, the following shall be added, namely:-

"Provided also that the title over such buildings of Municipal Schools, whose

management has been transferred on or after the first day of May, 2015 to the

School Education Department of the State Government, shall remain with the

Municipal Corporation, unless the State Government orders otherwise under the Act

or these rules."
