NOTIFICATION

No. F 5-9 l2Ol7 I 18. - In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 243W read with

Twelfth Schedule of the Constitution of India and Section 355 read with Section 95 of the

Chhattisgarh Municipalities Act, 1961 (No. 37 of 1961), the State Government, hereby,

makes the following further amendment in the Chhattisgarh Municipal Services (Scale of

Pay and Allowances) Rules, 1967, namely:-

AMENDMENT

In the said rules,-

1.

After rule 10, the following shall be added, namely:-

"1O-4. Special Provision Relating to Municipal Schools Transferred to School

Education Department.- Promotion to the posts of principal, l,ecturer, Upper

Division Teacher/Head Master of Municipal schools, whose management has been

transferred on or after the first day of May, 2015 to the School Education

Department, if candidates are available in the feeder cadre, shall be done by the

Municipality as was being done formerly; but if candidates for these posts are not

available in the feeder cadre then such posts shall be deemed to have been

transferred to the School Education Department and vacancies in such posts shall

be filled up by the School Education Department."

In Schedule-Ill, Under the heading "8.Education Department", serial number 1, 2,

3, 4 and 5 and entries relating thereto shall be omitted.
