NOTIFICATION

No. F 5-7l2Ol7l18. - In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 243W read with

Twelfth Schedule of the Constitution of India and Section 433 read with sub-section (1) of

Section 58 of the Chhattisgarh Municipal Corporation Act, 1956 (No. 23 of 1956), the State

Government, hereby, makes the following further amendment in the Chhattisgarh

Municipal Corporation (appointment and Conditions of Service of Officers and Servants)

Rule,2007, namely:-

AMENDMENT

In the said rules,-

1.

In rule 3, after sub-rule (1), for the punctuation full stop ".", the punctuation colon

":", shall be substituted.

2.

In rule 3, after sub-rule (1), the following proviso shall be added, namely:-

"Provided that promotion to the posts of Principal, Lecturer, Upper Division

Teacher/Head Master in Municipal schools, whose management has been

transferred on or after the first day of May 2015 to the School Education

Department, till such time as candidates are available in the feeder cadre, shall be

done by the Municipal Corporation as was being done formerly; but if candidates for

these posts are not available in the feeder cadre then such posts shall be deemed to

have been transferred to the School Education Department and vacancies in such

posts shall be filled up by the School Education Department."

In Schedule-I, serial number 81,83,84 & 85 and entries relating thereto shall be

omitted.
