In exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (l) of Section 6 read

with sub-section (l) and (2) of Section 7 of the 'Prevention and Control of Infectious and Contagious diseases in

Animals Act,2009 (No. 27 of 2009)', the Government of Chhattisgarh hereby declares municipal area of Durg

and Rajnandgaon district as "Controlled area" for equine species of animals to prevent, control and eradicate

Glanders disease and prohibits the movement of animals belonging to equine species from the place where they

are kept to any other place within or outside the controlled area.
