Whereas, there are reports with the State Govemment that certain elements are

active or are likely to be active to threaten the communal harmony and to commit any act prejudicial to the maintenance

of public order, and to commit acts prejudicial to the security of state;

And whereas, having regard to the circumstances prevailing in the areas within the local limits ofjurisdiction

of the All District Magistrate, District Raipur, Bilaspur, Rajnandgaon, Durg, Raigarh, Srrgujq Jashpur, Koria, Janjgir-

Champa, Korba, Kabirdham, Mahasamund, Dhamtari, Jagdalpur, Dantewada, Kanker, Bijapur, Narayanpur, Sukma,

Kondagaon, Balodabazar, Gariyaband, Bemetarq Balod, Mungeli, Surajpur, Balrampur the State Government is

satisfied that it is necessary so to do;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the power conferred by the provision to sub-section (3) of Section 3 of the

National SecurityAct, 1980 (No. 65 of 1980), the State Government hereby directs that the Disfiict Magistrate, District

Raipur, Bilaspur, RajnandgaorL Durg, Raigm[ Surguj4 Jashpur, Kori4 Janjgrr-Champa, Korbq Kabirdham, Mahasamun4

Dhamtari, Jagdalpur, Dantewad4 Kanker, Bijapur, Narayanpur, Sulan4 Kondagaon, Balodabazar, Gariyaband, Bemetara,

Balo{ Mungeli, Surajpur, Balrampur may during the period From I st July, 2019 to 3 0 Septembeq 20 1 9 if satisfied as

provided in sub-section (2) ofthe said Section 3, exercise the powers conferred by sub-section (2) ofthe said Section 3.
