NOTIFICATION

No. F 4-l/2015129-llFoodlPart .- In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3

of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (No. 10 of 1955), read with Order No. S.O. 681 (E),

dated 30th November, 1974. of the Government of India, Ministry of Industry and Civil

Supplies, (Department of Civil Supplies and Co-operation), the State Government, hereby,

makes the following amendment in the Chhattisgarh Kerosene Dealers Licensing Order,

1979, namely:-

AMENDMENT

In the said order,-

1.

For the word "Director", wherever they occur, the words and symbol

"Director/Commissioner" shall be substituted.

2.

Sub-clause (k) of clause 2 shall be omitted.

3.

After sub-clause (2) of clause 3, the following shall be added, namely:-

"(3) Provision of this Order relating to the license shall not be applicable to fair

price shops of public distribution system."

4.

In clause 6,-

(i)

In sub-clause (i) the word "maximum" shall be omitted.

(ii)

For sub-clause (ii), the following sub-clause shall be substituted, namely :-

'(ii)

The fee for issuing, reissuing or renewal of licence under this order

shall be as follows :-

(a)Wholesaler

Rs. 3000.00

(b) Semi-wholesaler

Rs. 1500.00

(c) Retailer

Rs. 300.00'

5.

For clause 9, the following shall be substituted, namely:-

"9.

Instruction for the compliance and dealing with blue kerosene,-

(1)

No license shall make and dealing related to blue Kerosene under the Public

Distribution System that is purchase, sale, storage of Kerosene for the

purpose of sale etc., unless it is so required by the State Government.

No person shall change physical appearance of blue Kerosene supplied under

the Public Distribution System through chemical or other process.

(3)

The license shall fulfil all the instructions given in writing to him through

general or special Order by Licensing Authority or Director/commissioner of

the State Government, from time of time, relating to purchase, Sale or

storage of Kerosene for the purpose of sale and disposal."

In sub-clause (1) of clause 13, for the heading "Amount of Security Deposit" and the

entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely :-

"Amount of Security Deposit

6.

Wholesaler

Semi-wholesaler

Retailer

Rs. 10,000.00

Rs. 5,000.00

Rs. 1,000.00'
