NOTIFICATION

No.lPanch.-253/PGYV/22/2019/374/. - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (l) of

Section 95 read with Section 43 of the Chhattisgarh Panchayat Raj Adhiniyam, 1993 ^(No. I of ^{1994), the State}

Govemment, hereby, makes the following further amendment in the Chhattisgmh Panchayat Nirvachan ^Niyam,

1995, the same having been previously published as required by sub-section ⁽³⁾ of Section 95 of the said ^Act,

namely:-

AMENDMENT

In the said rules,-

In rule 39,for sub-rule (2),the following shall be substituted, namely,-

"Q)

Any symbol allotted by the retuming offtcer to any candidate shall be final, except in such

case where the order or guidelines issued by the commission in the regards differs, in such condition, ⁱⁿ case of

election of panch and Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat the District Election Officer, in the case of election of

member of Janpad Panchayat the divisional commissioner and in case of election of member of Zila Panchayat

the State Election Commission may review for allotment of symbol in such manner as they deemed fit."
