NOTIFICATION

No./Panch.-307/PGVV/22120191781.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (l) of

Section 95 read with sub-section (1) of Section 43 of the Chhattisgarh Panchayat Raj Adhiniyum, 1993 (No. I

of 1994), the State Govemment, hereby makes the following fruther amendment in the Chhattisgarh Gram

Panchayat (Term of Office of Members of Standing Committee and Procedure for the Conduct of Business)

Rules, 1994, the same having been previously published as required by sub-section (3) of Section 95 ofthe said

Adhiniyum, namely:-

AMENDMENT

In the said rules,-

1.

In rule 3, in sub rule (l), after the word "Pancho", the symbol and words "/ Members of Gram Sabha"

shall be substituted.

2.

In rule 3, in sub rule (l), for clause (d) and (e), the following shall be substituted, namely :-

'(D) Agriculture, Revenue and Forest Committee - Agriculture, Land Development and

Conservation, Improved Seeds, Horticulture, Dairy, Fisheties, Small Irrigation, Labour,

Revenue, Twenty Point Program, Forest, Social Forestry, Gardening, Development of Small

forest produce and other forestation program in Gram Panchayat Area.

Village Gauthan Committee - Construction and operation of Gothan for the promotion and

protection of animals of each village in the Gram Panchayat."

In rule 3, in sub rule (2),-

(i)

in second proviso, for the symbol full stop "." the symbol colon ":" shall be substituted; and

(iD

after the second proviso, the following shall be added, namely :-

"Provided further also that the number of members in the Gram Gauthan Samiti will be

determined by the State Govemment or the authority authorized by it."
