NOTIFICATION

No./Panch.-307/PGYY/22/2020/392(A)/. The following turther draft amendment

Chhattisgarh Gram Panchayat (Term of Office of Members of Standing Commlttee and Procedure

Conduct of Business) Rules, 1994 which the State Government proposes to make, in exercise of the ^powers

conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 95 of the Chhattisgarh Panchayat Raj Adhiniyam, 1993 ^(No. I of 1994),

is hereby, published as required by sub-section (3) of Section 95 of the said Act, for the information of all

persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft shall be taken into

consideration after the expiry of fifteen days from the date of ^publication of this notification in the Official

Gazette.

Any objection or suggestion regarding the said draft received from any person, before the specified

period during office hurs by the office of the Deputy Secretary, Departrnent of Panchayat and Rural

Development, Government of Chhattisgarh, Room No. AD-025, Mahanadi Bhawan, Mantralay, Nawa Raipur,

Atal Nagar, shall be considered by the Government of Chhattisgarh.

DRAFTAMENDMENT

ln the said rules,-

1.

In rule 3, in sub rule (1), after the word "Pancho", the symbol and words "/ Members of Gram Sabha"

shall be omitted.

2.

In rule 3, in sub rule (2),-

in second proviso, for the puncuation colon ":" the puncuation full stop "." shall be substituted;

and

(ii)

third proviso shall be omitted.
