ORDER

No. F 13-1412020117-2.- Covid-I9 which originated in Wuhan city of China has now spread to about 120

countries more than 1,30,000 persons and has taken about 5000 lives so far. India has also reported about I 02 laboratory

tested positive cases with two deaths from Covid-I9. WHO has declared Covid-l9 as a global pandemic.

Keeping in view of the above emergent situation, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of

Sec. 2A ofthe Essential commoditiesAct, 1955 (10 of 1955), the Central Government has notified Essential commodities

Order,2020 declaringthe following items as Essential Commodities :

"Mask (2 ply, 3 ply surgical mask, N95 masks) & hand sanitizers."

In pursuance of the above order, the State Government hereby, empowers the following offrcers to enforce

Essential Commodities Order, 2020 to ensure prevention of hoarding, black marketing and profiteering of these items as

well as monitor their availability and distribution and to establish control at a prices not exceeding the maximum retail

price (MRP) printed on the packet of essential commodities :-
