No. F 10-40/2020/CT(EX)/V(56). ― In exercise of the powers conferred under provisio of sub-section

(3) and (d), (e), (f), (g) and (h) of sub-section (2) of Section 62 of the Chhattisgarh Excise Act, 1915 (No. II of

1915) along with sub-rule (13) of rule 18 of Chhattisgarh Foreign Liquor Rule, 1996, the State Government

hereby does more amendment in Chhattisgah Foreign Liquor Rules, 1996, i.e.:-

“1(b) It would be compulsory for the F.L.4(a) Licensee to lift month wise minimum

guaranteed quantity as above . In case of failure of lifting of monthwise minimum guaranteed

quantity a penalty at the rate of Rs. 660/- per quart bottle of Spirit and of Rs. 100/- per quart

bottle of malt, shall be imposed, which would not be refundable.”

“1(c) A separate hologram shall be affixed on each bottle to be issused to F.L.4(a) Licensee

apart from the reqular hologram fixed by the foreign Liquor supplier. The colour of the

hologram shall be orange. The licensee shall get the hologram from the Excise Office of the

District, after depositing the prescribed rate of the hologram in the treasury and shall maintain

the daily account of receipt, used and balance holograms in the prescribed register.”

A new condition 5(a) to be added after the condition 5 of from F.L.4(a) (commercial club

license) i.e. :-

“5(a) only one stock room and only one counter shall be permissible within the licensed

premises.”

This notification shall be deemed to have come onto force with effect from 1st April 2020.
