NOTIFICATION

No. F 4-ll20l9ll-3.- In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 read which

Article 16 and 335 of the Constitution of Indi4 the Governor of Chhattisgarh, hereby, makes the following

further amendment in the Chhattisgarh Public Services (Promotion) Rules, 2003, namely :-

AMENDMENT

In the said rules, -

1.

For rule I l, the following shall be substituted, namely :-

"11. ^{Representation in Promotion/Screening Committee.- If the nominated members other than the}

member presiding the promotion/screening committee in respect of the posts to be filled up by

promotion do not represent the category of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other

Backward Classes then one member belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other

Backward Classes category of the same status shall be included separately from each category in

the promotiotVscreening committee and the number of members of promotion/screening

committee shall be extended that limit.'

2.

This amendment shall be effective from the date ofpublication of this notification in the Official Gazette.
