No. F 4-55/Three-jail/2017.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 59 of the Prisons Act, 1894 (No.

IX of 1894), the State Government, hereby, makes the following further amendment in the Chhattisgarh Prisons Rules,

1968, namely :—

In the said rules,—

In sub-rule (1) of rule 815, for the words and symbol “six each for Central, three each for District and two each

for subsidiary jails”, the words and symbol “9 for Central, 5 each for District and 3 each for subsidiary jails” shall be

substituted.
