No. F 1-1/2017/1-3.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of

India, the Governor of Chhattisgarh, hereby, makes the following further amendment in the Chhattisgarh Civil Service

(General Condition of Service) Rules, 1961, namely :—

AMENDMENT

In the said rules,—

For sub-rule (1) of rule 8, the following shall be substituted, namely :—

“(1)

A person appointed to a service or post by direct recruitment shall be placed on probation for first

three years.”
