THE CHHATTISGARII RAJYA ANUSUCHIT JATI AYOG
(SANSHODHAN) ADHINI\&\M, 2020
An Act further to amend the Chhattisgarh Rajya Anusuchit Jati
Ayog Adhiniyam, 1995 (No. 25 of 1995),
Be it enacted by the Chhattisgarh Legisiature in the Seventy-First
Year of ttre Republic of India, as follows:-

This Act may be called the-Chhattisgarh Rajya
Anusuchit Jati Ayog (sanshodhan) Adhiniyam,

publication in the Oflicial Gazette.
For clause (a) of sub-section (2) of Section 3 of
the Chhattisgarh Rajya Anusuchit Jati Ayog
Adhiniyam, 1995 (No. 25 of 1995), (hereinafter
referred to'as the Principal Act), the following
shall be substituted, namely :*
"(a) Six non official members who have special
. knowledge in the matters relating to
Scheduled Castes of whom one shall be the
chairperson and one shall be the vice

chairperson to be appointed by the State
Government:
Provided that at least four members
including the Chairperson and ' Vice
Chairperson, shall be from amongst the
Scheduled Castes."
For sub-se'btion (1) of Section 4 of the Principal
Act, the following shall be substituted, namely :-
"(1) The Chairperson, Vice Chairperson and
every member shall hold office, from the
' date on which he assumes the oflice,
during the pleasure of the State
Government.'
