THE' CHHATTISGARH RAJYA AI'IUSUCHIT JANJATI AYOG

An Act further to amend the Chhattisgarh Rajya Anusuchit Janjati

Ayog Adhiniyam, 1995 (No. 24 of 1995).

Be it enacted by the Chhattisgarh Legislature in the Seven$-First

Year of the Republic of India, as follows:-

Amendment of Z,

For clause (a) of sub-section {2) of Section 3 of

Section 3.

tJ:e Chhattisgarh Rdya Arrusuchit Janjati Ayog

Adhiniyam (No. 24 of 1"995), {hereinafter referred

to as the Principal Act), the following shall be

substituted, namely:-

"{a} Six non official members who ^have

special knowledge in the matters

relating to Sched"uled Tribes of whom

one shall be the Chairperson and one

appointed by the State Government:

Provided tleat at least four

members including the Chairpersoir and

Vice Chairperson, shall be from amongst

the Scheduled Tribes."

For sub-sdction (1) of Section 4 of the

Act, the following shall be substituted,

"(1)

Chairperson,

Chairperson and

every member shall hold office, from tlle

date on u*rich he assumes the office,

during the pleasure of the State

Government."
