NOTIFICATION

No' F 5-1912019/18.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (l) of Section 6 of the

Chhattisgarh Nagariya KshetronKe Bhoomihin Vyacti (Patiadhriti Adhikaron Ka Pradan fiya Jana) Adhiniyan,

1984 (No. 15 of 1984), the State Government, hereby, makes the following amendment in the Chhattisgarh

Nagariya Kshetron Ke Bhoomihin Vyakti (Pattadhriti Adhikaron Ka pradan Kiya Jana) Rules, 2019, namely:-

AMENDMENT

In the said rules,-

For clause (b) of sub-rule (l) of rule 2, the following shall be substituted, namely:-

*(b) *Area" means such Government land of a slum that has been declared by the urban body for

settlement to the urban poor;

Explanation: Such areas that existed on the date mentioned in Section 3 of the Act, but, for

whatever reason, have not been declared by the urban body for settlement to the urban poor,

th9 urban body may any time declme for settlement to the urban poor for the purposes of ifrese

rules."
