CHHATTISGARH MTJNICIPALITIES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2020

AnActfurthertoamendtheChhattisgarhMunicipalitiesAct, 1961(No.37of1961).

of India, as follows :-

ThisActmaybecalledtheChhattisgarh Municipalities (Amendment) Act,

2020.

It shall come into force from th"'aut" of it, prrUlication in the Offrcial Gazelte.

For proviso of sub- section (l) of Section 16l of the Chhattisgarh Municipalities Act,

l96l (No. 37 of l96l), the followingshall be substituted, namely :-

" Provided that the State Government mayfom time to time, by Notification

published in the Official Gazette, exempt the transfer of some or all immovable

properties, partly or fully, temporarily or permanently, from the provision contained in

this sub-section, subject to such conditions as it may speciff in the Notification."
