NOTIFICATION

No. F 5-3612015118.- In exercise of the ^{power conferred by Section 36 of the Street Vendors}

(Protection of L;ivelihood and Regulation of Sheet Vending) Act,20l4 ^{(No. 7} of ^{2014), the State Government,}

hereby, malSes the following ^{further amendment} in ^{the Chhattisgarh Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood}

and Regulation of Street Vending) ^{Rules,20l5, namely :-}

AMENDMENT

In the said rules,-

For clause ^(e) of sub-rule ⁽²⁾ of rule 5, the following shall be substituted, ^namely:-

"(e) Municipal ^Officer of ^{the IJrban Local Bodies shall elect ten Vendors, half of whom shall}

be women as members through Nominatior/an election ^process from identified ^vendors:

Provided that due representation shall be given to the Scheduled Castes, the

Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Minorities and ^{persons with} disabilities:

Provided further that the vendors shafl bL so selected as to represent various

trades and vendor zones in the town."
