OTIFICATION

No' l49ltR472lTrans-VIIV2020.- {s- a -p1u{ of epidemic of corona virus (Covid-19),

circumstances arising from lockdown, in view of the difficulties facld in the operation of passenger buses, in

exercise of.the powers golferred by Sub-section (l) of section 2l of the chirauisgarh rraoio.y- Karadhan

adhiniyam, l99l (No. 25 of l99l), the State Government, hereby, exempts in paymeit of motor vehicle tax in

respect of passenger vehicles as follows:-

l' (a) Exemption in submission of advance monthly tax payable for a period of March, 2021,

subject to the restrictions and conditions specified undlr rule I t and rz or trre ihhffi;;il

Motoryan Karadhan Rules, 1991.

(b) After 31st march, 2o?!, the provision for depositing monthly tax in advance shall

automatically become effective.

2. This notification shall come into force with retrospective effect from 3l st October, 2020.
