NOTICE

No./5076/F-11/11/2021/14-2.⸺The following draft of amendment in the Chhattisgarh Krishi Upaj

Mandi (Mandi Nidhi, Lekha Tatha Rajya Vipnan Sewa Ki Gathan Ki Riti Tatha Anya Vishaya) Niyam, 1980,

which the State Government in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 79 of the Chhattisgarh Krishi Upaj

Mandi Adhiniyam, 1972 (No. 24 of 1973), proposes to amendment, is hereby, published as required by sub-

section (1) of Section 79 of the said Adhiniyam, for the information of all person likely to be affected thereby

and notice is hereby given that the said draft shall be taken into consideration after the expiry of fifteen days

from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.

Any objection or suggestions regarding the said draft received from any person before the specified

period, in office hours in office of the Agriculture Production Commissioner, Government of Chhattisgarh,

Department of Agriculture, Mahanadi Bhawan, Mantralaya, Nava Raipur Atal Nagar, District Raipur shall be

considered by the Government of Chhattisgarh.

DRAFT AMENDMENT

In the said rules,-

For sub-rule (1) of rule 7, the following sub-rule shall be substituted, namely:-

"(1) Every market committee shall keep 15% of its gross receipts (license fees and market fees) as a

reserve fund:

provided that the Director shall have the power to increase the limit of percentage subject to a

maximum of 20%"
