NOTIFICATION

No. F 6-121/2002/CT(R)/V (76 ).⸺ In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 and 7 of the

Registration Act, 1908 (XVI of 1908), the State Government, hereby :-

1. (a)

forms the Registration District of Surajpur comprising the whole Revenue Tahsils of Surajpur,

Pratappur, Premnagar, Ramanujnagar, Latori, Bhaiyathan and Odagi which are presently included

in and form part of Sarguja Registration district but shall hereafter cease to be included in or form

part of the said Sarguja District.

(b)

establishes an office at Surajpur to be styled as the office of Registrar, Surajpur.

2. (a)

forms the Registration District of Balrampur comprising the whole Revenue Tahsil of Balrampur,

Ramanujganj, Kusmi, Wadrafnagar, Rajpur, Shankargarh, Ramchandrapur and Samri which are

presently included in and form part of Sarguja Registration district but shall hereafter cease to be

included in or form part of the said Sarguja District.

(b)

establishes an office at Balrampur to be styled as the office of Registrar, Balrampur.

3.

Directs that the formation of the District and the establishment of the office of Registrar under clause (a)

and (b) of serial number 1 and 2 respectively on above shall take effect on/from the date 05 September

2022.
