NOTICE

No. F 10-122/2010/29-1.⸺ The following further draft of amendment in the Chhattisgarh Legal

Metrology (Enforcement) Rules, 2011, which the State Government in exercise of the powers conferred by

Section 53 read with sub-section (1) of Section 24 of the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 (No. 1 of 2010), proposes

to make, is hereby, published as required by sub-section (4) of Section 53 of the said Act, for the information of

all person likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft shall be taken into

consideration after the expiry of thirty days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official

Gazette.

Any objection or suggestions regarding the said draft received from any person before the specified

period, in office hours in office of the Secretary, Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection,

Government of Chhattisgarh, Room No. S-3-10, Mahanadi Bhawan, Mantralaya, Nava Raipur Atal Nagar,

District Raipur shall be considered by the Government of Chhattisgarh.
