NOTIFICATION

No. F 10-46/2019/CT(R)/V(29).⸺ In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 78 of the

Registration Act, 1908 (No. XVI of 1908), the State Government, hereby, makes the following further

amendment in this Department's Notification No. F 3-53/2020/CT(R)/V(19), dated 4th February, 2022,

namely:-

AMENDMENT

In the said notification,-

In sub-head "exemption and restriction" of Heading “Table of registration fees”, after serial number

(64), the following serial number (65) shall be added, namely:-

Remits the Closed/sick declared industrial unit, from the registration fees chargeable on instruments

industrialist/firm/company

industrialist/firm/company for re-operation and rehabilitation of industries under the Chhattisgarh

Closed/Sick Industries Special Incentive Policy, 2019

Explanations: for the purpose of this notification,-

Remission from registration fees shall effective for all eligible micro and small, medium, large

industries, mega project and ultra mega project industries (except the ineligible industries shown

in the attached Appendix-'I') for the rehabilitation of Closed/Sick Industries.

When Closed/Sick Industries is purchased by other Industrialist Firm /Company, Remission from

registration fees shall only be provided under provision of the Chhattisgarh Closed/Sick

Industries Special Incentive Policy, 2019 in case of diversification/expansion of existing.

The exemption certificate issued by Chief-General Manager/General Manager of concerned

District Trade and Industry Center in cases of micro and small, Closed/sick industries and in cases

other than micro and small scale industries, the exemption certificate issued by the Commissioner

of Industries/Director of Industries or the officer so authorized, will be accepted for exemption

from registration fees.

Original certificates to be presented along with the documents submitted for registration, and shall

be made part of the office record.

The remission from registration fees so granted to the concerned unit shall become ineffective

immediately on breach of the terms and conditions mentioned in the Chhattisgarh Closed/Sick

Industries Special Incentive Policy, 2019 and the amount of remission from registration fees shall

be recovered as arrears of land revenue, along with an interest at the rate of twelve and a half

percent from the date of such remission, with the co-ordination of the Industries Department.

No remission shall be granted on such documents wherein concerning party has paid the

registration fees prior to the date of publication of this notification in the Gazette.

The said notification shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official

Gazette and shall be effective till 31 October 2024.

List of ineligible industries, which are not eligible for exemption as mentioned in the Chhattisgarh Closed/Sick

Industries Special Incentive Policy, 2019

1. Prohibited industries for a particular area by the Government of India / State Government / any agency

of the State Government.

2. Prohibited industries, declared by the Government of India / State Government.

3. Blacklisted Industries, declared by Government of India/State Government.

4. Enterprise established by Government of India/State Government.

5. Industries based on Pan Masala, Gutka, Supari and Tobacco .

6. Beverages based on Alcohol and alcohol Distillery.

7. Industries related to crackers, matches and fireworks.

8. Stone crusher.

9. Leather Tannery.

10. Slaughter House.

11. Coal and coke briquettes, coal screening (except coal washery).

12. Crushing/grinding/pulverizing of all minerals.

13. Other industries which may be declared prohibited by the State Government from time to time.
