अिधसूचना
यत:, िनवाªचन आयोग ने अपने पý सं. 23/2023-ईआरएस (खंड ।।) िदनांक 24 मई, 2023 के Ĭारा 01-10-2023 कì
अहªक ितिथ के संदभª म¤ छ°ीसगढ़ राºय म¤ फोटोयुĉ िनवाªचक नामाविलयŌ के िवशेष संि±Į पुनरी±ण के िलए कायªøम कì
घोषणा कर दी थी; और
यत:, सभी िवधानसभा ±ेýŌ के िलए ÿाłप नामाविलयां यथा-िनधाªåरत 02 अगÖत, 2023 को ÿकािशत कì गई थé;
और
यत:, दावे और आपि°यां दािखल करने कì अविध 02 अगÖत, 2023 से 31 अगÖत, 2023 तक िनयत कì गई थी;
और
यत:, िनवाªचन आयोग ने छ°ीसगढ़ राºय म¤ िनवाªचक नामा विलयŌ के िवशेष संि±Į पुनरी±ण के चल रहे कायª कì
समी±ा के उपराÆत एवं मु´य िनवाªचन अिधकारी, छ°ीसगढ़ Ĭारा कì गई अनुशंसा से सहमत होते हòए यह िनणªय िलया है िक
छ°ीसगढ़ राºय म¤ दावे एवं आपि°यां दािखल करने कì अविध 11 िसतंबर, 2023 तक िवÖताåरत कì जाए ।
अत: अब, िनवाªचक रिजÖ ůीकरण िनयम, 1960 के िनयम 12 के परंतुक Ĭारा ÿदÂ त शिĉयŌ का ÿयोग करते हòए,
िनवाªचन आयोग Ĭारा 01-10-2023 कì अहªक ितिथ के संदभª म¤ फोटोयुĉ िनवाªचक नामाविलयŌ के चल रहे िवशेष संि±Į
पुनरी±ण के िलए छ°ीसगढ़ राºय के सभी िवधानसभा ±ेýŌ म¤ दावे और आपि°यां दािखल करने कì अविध 11 िसतÌबर, 2023
(सोमवार) को सिÌमिलत करते हòए एतद्Ĭारा इस तारीख तक िवÖताåरत कì जाती है ।

NOTIFICATION
Whereas, the Election Commission had announced the schedule for Special Summary
Revision of Photo electoral rolls in Chhattisgarh State with reference to 01-10-2023 as the
qualifying date vide its letter No. 23/2023-ERS (Vol. II) dated 24th May, 2023; and
Whereas, the draft rolls for all Assembly Constituencies were published on 02nd
August, 2023 as scheduled; and
Whereas, the period of filing claims and objections was fixed from 02nd August,
2023 to 31st August, 2023; and
Whereas, the Election Commission, while reviewing the ongoing exercise of Special
Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls in Chhattisgarh and considering the request to extend
the period of filing claims and objections as well as the recommendation of the CEO,
Chhattisgarh in this regard, has decided that the period of filing claims and objections in
Chhattisgarh State should be extended up to 11th September, 2023.
Now, therefore, the Election Commission, in exercise of the powers conferred by the
proviso to Rule 12 of the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960, hereby extends the period for
filing claims and objections, for all Assembly Constituencies in the State of Chhattisgarh upto
and including 11th September, 2023 (Monday) for ongoing Special Summary Revision of
Photo electoral rolls with reference to 01-10-2023 as the qualifying date.
