सरकार के परामशù से इस मामले पर समुɚचत əवचार करके əनवाùचन आयोग əनĔनɛलɝखत अəनवायù सेवाआȶ मȶ əनयोɜजत ȃɡüतयाȶ को,

एतǸवारा ऐसे ȃɡüतयाȶ के ȥप मȶ अɚधसूɚचत करता है जो ɘदनांक 13–10-2023 एवं 21-10-2023 को अɚधसूɚचत होने वाले

छǴीसगढ़ əवधान सभा के वतùमान साधारण əनवाùचन मȶ मतदान के ɘदन DZूटी पर होने के कारण अपने संबंɚधत मतदान कȶ ŗ पर उपɠĚथत

होने मȶ सZम नहʢ हाȶगे, इसɛलए ये əवɚध एवं ďयाय मंŕालय, भारत सरकार, अɚधसूचना का.आ. सं. 3786 (ङ) ɘदनांक 22 अüतूबर,

2019, और इस əनɚमǴ əनवाùचन आयोग Ȁारा əनगùत əनदेशाȶ एवं ɘदशा-əनदȺशाȶ के जɗरए यथा-संशोɚधत əनवाùचनाȶ का संचालन əनयम,

1961 के भाग ।।।(क) के उपबंधाȶ के अनुसार उüत əनवाùचन मȶ डाक-मतपŕ के Ȁारा मतदान करने वाली ţेणी के ė यिü त हाȶगे।

No. 52/2023/SDR/Vol.I.- In pursuance of the provisions of clause (c) of Section-60 of the Representation

of the People Act, 1951, on due consideration of the matter in consultation with the Government of

Chhattisgarh, the Election Commission hereby notifies that the persons employed in the following essential

services and they being on duty on the day of poll, as a class of persons to give vote by postal ballot in the

current General Election to Legislative Assembly of Chhattisgarh, scheduled to be notified on 13-10-2023 and

21-10-2023, as per the provisions of Part-IIIA of the Conduct of Elections Rules, 1961, as amended vide

Ministry of Law & Justice, Govt. of India, Notification SO No. 3786(E), dated 22^nd October, 2019, and the

Commission’s directions and guidelines:
