NOTIFICATION

No. 389/Rules/2026.⸺ In exercise of the powers conferred under Articles 225 and 227 of the

Constitution of India, the High Court of Chhattisgarh hereby makes the following amendment in Chhattisgarh

High Court (Live Streaming of Court Proceedings) Rules, 2022, which shall come into force with immediate

effect :-

AMENDMENTS

1. The Rule 11(a) shall be replaced with the following:

(a) (i) Recording shall be uploaded, wholly or in part, on the Courts website or made available on

other digital platforms, as directed by the High Court.

(ii) The archived data should ordinarily be retained by the High Court for at least 45 days,

subject to special directions issued by the concerned Bench in a particular case. The Chief

Justice may issue practice directions regarding the cases, and the period for which archived

data will be preserved.
