NOTIFICATION

No. 5788/Rules/2026. In exercise of the powers conferred under Articles 225 and 227 of the

Constitution of India, the High Court of Chhattisgarh hereby makes the following amendment in the

Chhattisgarh High Court (Live Streaming of Court Proceedings) Rules, 2022, which shall come into force with

immediate effect :-

AMENDMENTS

1. The Rule 8 (a) shall be replaced with the following:

"(a) Subject to the exclusions contained within these Rules, only (i) Public Interest Litigation (PIL), (ii)

Cases involving substantial questions of law and (iii) Any other case specially directed by the Hon'ble

Court shall be Live Streamed by the Court."
