NOTIFICATION

No. F 13-10/Two-Home/H.G./2008 . In exercise of the Powers conferred by the Proviso to Article

309 of Constitution of India, the Governor of Chhattisgarh, hereby, makes the following further amendment in

the Chhattisgarh Home Guards Class, III (Executive) Service Recruitment Rules, 2008, namely :-

AMENDMENT

In the said rules,-

1.

For clause (a) of sub-rule (1) of rule 8, the following shall be substituted, namely:-

“(a) The candidate must have attained the age as specified in column (3) of Schedule–III and must not have

attained the age as specified in column (4) of the said Schedule on the first day of January of the year in

which the advertisement for the post is published;”

2.

In clause (c) of sub-rule (1) of rule 8, for the words “to a women candidate”, the words “for the local

(domicile) female candidates of the State of Chhattisgarh” shall be substituted.

3.

Clause (e) of sub-rule (1) of rule 8 shall be omitted.

4.

For sub-rule (5) of rule 8, the following shall be substituted, namely :-

“(5) Candidate must be a local (domicile) resident of the State of Chhattisgarh.”

5. In sub-rule (3) of rule 11, for the words “for women candidate”, the words “for the local (domicile) female

candidates of the State of Chhattisgarh” shall be substituted.

6. For rule 19, the following shall be substituted, namely :–

“19. Probation.- (1) Every person recruited directly to the service shall be appointed on the probation for a

period of 3 years.

(2) Every person posted by promotion to the service shall be appointed in a officiating capacity for a period

of 2 years.”

7.

In clause 6 of Schedule-V, for the word “two” the word ‘‘three’’ shall be substituted.
