NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 14th January 1963

No. CH(I)-6(9)/61.—The prices of Soda Ash announced in Resolution

No.

CH(I)-6(9)/61 dated the 5th January, 1962 and contained under Notification of

even number dated the 31st December, 1962, are hereby revised as under:—

(a) The celling price (ex-works) of light Soda Ash shall be Rs. 19.50 nP

per 50 Kg. i.e. Rs. 390 per tonne;

(b) The ceiling price (ex-works) of Heavy Soda Ash shall be Rs. 25 per

tonne above the ceiling price for light Soda Ash;

(c) It has been decided not to fix prices for light Soda Ash and Heavy Soda

Ash on the basis of ex-port-town delivery. The above celling prices

are inclusive of selling commission, but exclusive of handling charges,

local taxes, excise duty and transportation charges.

(d) These prices will come into force immediately and be in operation till

further notice.
