New Delhi, the 1st March, 1963

No. 3/2/63-Pub.II.—In exercise of the powers conferred by

Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (XXVI of 1881)

the Central Government hereby declares Friday the 1st March, 1963,

to be a public holiday throughout India as a mark of respect to the

memory of Dr. Raiendra Prasad, Ex-President of India.
