Scheme-—Principles governing allotment of I.V.C.

Numbers.

No 27-ITC(PN)/66.—Attention is invited to the principles and procedure re-

lating to the allotment of I.V.C. Registration/Exemption Numbers as contained

in Appendix 3 of the Import Trade Control Hand Book of Rules and Procedure

1964, and amended vide Public Notice No. 56-ITC(PN)64 dated 13th July, 1964.

2. The following further amendments may be deemed to have been made in

Appendix 3 of the Import Trade Control Hand Book of Rules and Procedure

1964: —

(a) In para 8(b) (ii), delete the words "and certificate";

(b) In para 9 (e) of Annexure I, delete the words "and certificate"; and

(c) In Clause 2 (Hi) of the I.T O'S Certificate under Annexure I, delete the

words "and certificate".
