NOTIFICATIONS
New Delhi, the 14th October 1966
S.O. 3100.—Whereas election has been held in pursuance of notification No,
S.O. 2837, dated the 21st September, 1966, issued under section 12 of the Re-
presentation of the People Act. 1951 (43 of 1951), for the purpose of filling one
seat of the member of the Council of States elected by the elected members of
the Legislative Assembly of Jammu and Kashmir, retiring on the 10th Novem-
ber, I960, on the expiration of his term of office;
Now, therefore, in pursuance of section 71 of the said Act, the name of Shri
Gulam Nabi Untoo, member elected by the elected members of the Legislative
Assembly of Jammu and Kashmir is hereby notified for general Information.

S.O. 3101.—In pursuance of section 67 of the Representation of the People
Act. 1951 (43 of 1951), the following declaration containing the name of the candi-
date elected to fill the seat, of the Council of States of one member from Jammu
and Kashmir, retiring on the 10th November, 1966, on the expiration of his term
of office, is published for general information- —
DECLARATION
"In pursuance of section 66 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, I
declare that Shri Gulam Nabi Untoo, Sopore, District Baramulla, Kashmir has
been duly elected by the elected members of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative
