THE CONSTITUTION (GOA, DAMAN AND DIU) SCHEDULED CASTES ORDER,

1968

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 341 of the Constitution of

India, the President is pleased to make the following Order, namely :—

1. This Order may be called the Constitution (Goa, Daman and Diu) Scheduled Castes

Order. 1968.

2. The castes, races or tribes specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this Order and

the synonyms thereof, if any, specified in column 2 against each such caste, race or tribe

shall, for the purpose of the Constitution, he deemed to be Scheduled Castes in relation

1968

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 342 of the Constitution of

India, tlio President is pleased to make the following Order, namely:—

1. This Order may be called the Constitution (Goa, Daman ;md Diu) Scheduled Tribes

Order, 1558.

2. The tribes or tribal communities specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this

Order arid the synonyms thereof, if any, specified in column. 2 tijjuinst each such tribe or

tribal community, shall, for the purposes o)^: the Constitution, be dcjvned to be Scheduled

Tribes in relation to the Union territory of Go^, Daman and Di-.i JO far
