G.S.R. 1866.—The following Order made by the President on 31st October,

1970 is published for general information: —

THE STATES REORGANISATION (GOVERNERS' ALLOWANCES AND

PRIVILEGES) AMENDMENT ORDER, 1970

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 73 of the States Reorganisation

Act, 1956 (37 of 1956), the President hereby makes the following Order further to

amend the States Reorganisation (Governors' Allowances and Privileges) Order,

1957, namely: —

1. This Order may be called the States Reorganisation (Governors' Allowances

and Privileges) Amendment Order, 1870,

2. In the States Reorganisation (Governors' Allowances and Privileges) Order,

1957, in the Second Schedule, the existing proviso shall be numbered as (1) there-

of and after it is so numbered, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely: —

"(2) Provided further that for the financial year 1970-71 this Schedule shall,

in so far as it relates to the State of Kerala, have effect as if for the

figures "60,000", "10,000", "55.000", "30,000" and "1,67,000" occurring

in columns 3, 6, 7, 8 and 9 thereof, the figures "60,580", "10,755 ,

"59,455", "47,520" and "1,90,310" had respectively been substituted."
