ORDER
New Delhi, the 1st January, 1973.
S.O, 1(E).—Whereas the Supreme Court has, in its judgment delivered on the 24th-Nc-
rember, 1971, on the Writ Pettiors filed by the manufactures of made cars in regard 10 the
following prices of
the
manufactured by them directed the Centraj Government 10 review
prices of the three makes of cars manufactured in the country every six morths
after
consideration the claims submitted by the manufactures of the said cars forircreasein the prices
of the cars manufactured by them;
And whereas the Central Government has considered the clam almiddly by the mar.u-
fiwturcrs of the said cars for in crease in the prices shall be said cars
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section of the Industries (De-
velopment and Regulation) Act, 1951 (63 of 1931) , the Central Government hereby mikes the
following Order further to amend the Mo-ton Cars (Distribution and Sale) control Order, 1939
namely;—
1. (1) This Order may by called the Motor Cars (Distribution and Sale) Control (Amend-
«nent) Order, 1973,
(2) It shall come into force on the 1st January, 1973.
