No. 429/39/72-AVD-IV-—The President is pleased on the occasion of Republic
Day, 1073, to award an Appreciation Certificate for Specially Distinguished Record
of Service to Shri Cottar Syed Ahmed Shah, presently working as Chief Enforce-
ment Officer, under the Madras Zonal Office of the Directorate of Enforcement.
2. The award is made under Clause (a) (ii) of para 1 of the Scheme governing
the grant of awards to the officers and stall of the Customs & Central Excise
Departments, published in Part I, Section 1, of the Gazette of India Extraordinary
Notification No. 12/139/59-AD.IIIB dated the 5th November, 1962, as amended
from time to time.
