New Delhi, the 29th January 1973

S.O. 46(E),—In pursuance of the provisions of clause (a) of sub-section (i)

of section 2 of the Border Security Force Act, 1968 (47 of 1968) the Central Govern-

ment hereby declares the duty by every person referred to in the said clause (a)

serving in Rajasthan for a period of six months with effect from 8th January, 1973,

as active duty.
