reason of the death of Shri She Candida Prasad, a member

to that House

from 27-Banka Parliamentary Constituency in the State of Bihur;

Now, therefore, in pursuance of the provisions of sub-section (1)

of

section 149

of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the Election Commission

hereby

calls

upon the said

constituency

to elect before the

20th April,

1973,

accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the Rules and Orders made there-

under, a person to fill the said vacancy.

bye-

election to be held in 27-Banka Parliamentary

Constituency

in the State of Bihar in

pursuance of its notification No. 100/BR-HP/3/72(l), dated the 16th March. 1973—

(a) the 23rd March, 1973 (Friday), as the last; dato for making nominations;

(b) the 24th March, 1973 (Saturday), as the date for scrutiny of nominations;

(jc) the

26th March, 1973

(Monday), as the last date

for the

withdrawal

of

candidatures;

(d) the 15th April, 1973 (Sunday), as the date on which

a poll shall, if neces-

sary, be taken; and

(e) the

20th April,

1973

(Friday), as the date before which thei election

shall

be completed.
