ORDER
New Delhi, the -7th July 1973
G.S.R. 352(E).—Whereas it appears to the Central Government that it is necessary and
expedient so to do for securing the equitable distribution of the essential commodity, namely fer-
tilisers;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities
Act, 1955 (10 of 1955) the Central Government hereby directs that the manufacturers specified
in the schedule given below:
(1) shall sell to the registered fertiliser dealers in the States or Union Territories men-
tioned in column 1 of the said schedule, fertiliser of the description and quantity men-
tioned therein and during the period 1st August, 1973 to 30th September, 1973; and
(2) shall submit to the Central Government and the Stare Governments or U.Ts. men-
tioned in column 1 of the said schedule a statement by the 15th day of every month con-
taining therein : ~
J (i) The quantity of fertiliser despatched to various dealers in the States and Union
Territories mentioned in column 1 with the dates of despatch during the previous
month; and
(ii) the quantity of fertiliser which the said manufacturers propose to despatch to the
various dealers in the States and Union Territoies mentioned in column in the suc-
ceeding month.
