NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 7th July 1973

G.S.E. 344(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (1) of clause

4 of the Vegetable Oil Products Control Order 1947, the Vegetable Oil Products

Controller for India hereby makes the following Order further to amend the

Vegetable Oil Products

(Standards of Quality)

Order 1972, No. G.S.E. 87(E),

dated the 19th February 1972, namely:—

1. (1) This Order may be called the Vegetable Oil Products (Standards of

Quality) Second Amendment Order, 1973.

(2) It shall come into force on the 8th July, 1973.

2. In clause 2 of the Vegetable Oil Products (Standards of Quality) Order

1972, in sub-clause (2), in para (a) after the proviso, the following further pro-

viso shall be inserted, namely:—•

"Provided further that in the case of vegetable oil product manufactured

up to and including the 31st October 1973, it shall toe sufficient if the

total content of refined vegetable oils in such product is not less than

7.5 per cent by weight, subject to compliance with the first proviso."
